Last night was obviously great as an OSU fan, or anyone who's tired of Clemson, but to an objective fan it continued a long-running tradition of the first round of the playoffs being nothing but blowouts.

There have now been 14 CFP semifinal games.  The margin of victory in each of them was: 39, 7, 20, 38, 17, 31, 6 (OT), 18, 11, 27, 35, 6, 17 and 21.  There has been a grand total of three games that weren't decided by multiple scores - OSU was in two of those three, so maybe the committee should consider including us for no reason other than good TV (though in full disclosure, we're also that 31 quoted above).

This could possibly get worse in the future when we inevitably expand to eight, as the 1v8 and 2v7 matchups aren't likely to be too competitive.
