(DISCLAIMER - THIS POST DOES NOT PROMOTE OR CONDONE ANY ACTUAL PUNCHING VIOLENCE, ONLY THE FANTASY KIND)
I started thinking about Sunshine after the game. His freshman season, he would have made the top of this list, just because. Now I've gained a good deal of respect for the young man, based on his demeanor, desire to win and competitiveness.
But here are a few QBs in history that I do not share this opinion and thought it fitting to compile a list of the all time "greats"
- Connor Cook ( face as he snatched that trophy from Archie achieved peak punchability)
- Jim Harbaugh (80's era) He was well punchable before the "Guarantee", but after? fugetaboutit!
- Jimmy Clausen (Notre Dame) Although we never played him, the hype surrounding him was nauseating and I always knew he was a bust with an ostrich face that screamed "do not not punch me" (no offense to ostriches)
- Ryan Leaf - responsible party as a bust for gifting TTUN their only half natty of the last half century and his famous tirade after going pro screamed maximum immaturity.
- Christian Hackenberg - sounds unfair, since no particular reason I can recall -just always wanted to punch it
y'all have any others in mind?
