Just in case anyone wondered if schools give one single damn anymore about the specter of NCAA violations...
Bill Self is neck-deep in the FBI probe into basketball recruiting, and Kansas literally signs him to a lifetime contract that says that they can’t fire him if the NCAA or Big XII suspends him for any related violations. As long as he wins, right? Yeah, this is kind of morally appalling, but, this is the approach that the top schools in all sports are taking now with the NCAA. Honestly, it makes OSU’s policy of self-reporting violations look silly. If the NCAA is toothless to combat any school that wants to play hardball, why continue to punch yourself in the face?
