Assume the Game was played this year and OSU beats TTUN soundly, say something like 56-14 or 49-10 (not hanging 100 on them). Would TTUN have (a) still extended Harbaugh w/ the 5 year contract, w/ the same pay cut, (b) let Harbaugh go into his final year w/ no contact extension or (c) some type of "mutual" divorce and Harbaugh is no longer at TTUN?

  I personally think it would have been very difficult to extend him if he was now 0-6 against OSU and getting boat-raced once again. I think he would still be there, but going into his final year w/ no contact extension. (And needing a win against OSU in November to get an extension).  Similar to 1994, when John Cooper went into the Game needing a win to get an extension and keep his job. (Cooper was 0-5-1 prior to the '94 Game).
