In case you don't want to read the article, a booster paid two players $10k each to do a 30 minute interview with texags.com which is a Texas A&M site. This is pretty clearly just a ploy for a booster to legally pay athletes that they were probably paying under the table before. The booster can bring his payments above board and doesn't have to risk getting the school in trouble, the fan site gets a nice piece they can run to generate traffic and the players get a big chunk of change for almost no work. I would imagine this will become very common at every big school. I could see Lettermen Row jumping on this as almost all of their podcasts are sponsored and they seem to have a good relationship with many former players which might help them get in with current players. But honestly any site would probably do this if a booster approached them.
