Was just looking around at some schedules for FBS/power 5 schools this year, and I have to say the Stanford schedule caught my eye... That's a pretty tough slate of games.
They play 6 games against teams that are ranked in the pre-season top 25, and they play all power-5 teams... Granted that includes the Pac-12 which is more often that not pretty underwhelming, and Vanderbilt (albeit an away game)... But they're up against USC (15), Oregon (11), Arizona State (25), Washington (20), Utah (24), and Notre Dame (9). They play @ Washington State, and they have an opening match-up at home against Kansas State.
I respect that slate for the Cardinal even a few of those teams are overrated.
Georgia Tech's schedule is also fairly brutal. They will play 5 teams ranked in the PS top 25, but they play Clemson and UNC back to back and close the season with Notre Dame and Georgia back to back... OUCH! Who did the jackets piss off to wind up with those clumps of games?
What schedules caught your eye for the level of difficulty within the P5?
