I generally avoid ESPN like the plague, unless I'm watching a live game.
But I watched the North Carolina/VT game last night and a little bit of Michigan State/Northwestern (didn't make it to halftime). I didn't hear anything about Ohio State, no highlights, no talk.
Haven't heard anything about them on Gameday so far.
I feel like, in addition to the normal emphasis on SEC/ACC that ESPN does, there's now an added layer with Fox vs ESPN being an element in conference realignment. If Bama had opened on Thursday, played a fairly entertaining game, and showed as much explosiveness on offense as OSU did, I don't think ESPN would shut up about it.
