The best postseason in all of sports is upon us and I am extremely excited! I figured I would start a thread talking about March Madness and all of the potential cool matchups that could come from this bracket and just give my overall view of some teams to see if yall are thinking the same way I am.
West Region:
Probably the overall best region with the strength of the 1-3 seeds. I was a bit surprised to see Duke get this tough of a path but I am not complaining. I have been extremely high on Texas Tech all year and I think they are the ones who end up making it out of this region and into the Final 4. Bama is the wild card here they have the best wins in CBB and some of the worst losses so they could lose to the 11 or just win the whole thing.
East Region:
I have Kentucky making it out of this region beating UNC in the Elite 8 game. Baylor has not been the same since Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua and LJ Cryer were lost for the year making this an extremely favorable matchup for UNC. The potential Round of 32 game between Kentucky and Murray State is going to be fantastic. Va Tech is a sleeper and I feel they have a great chance of upsetting both Texas and Purdue since they are so red hot.
South Region:
Let's start with the Buckeyes, Loyola Chicago is an extremely old team that guards the heck out of the ball but they do not have anyone that can contend with EJ. I am unsure if we make it past them but if we do I truly believe we beat Nova. They are not good if Gillespie doesn't show up and if we can limit him we win that game, as 2 seeds go they are the best we could have asked for. We are just as likely if not more to beat Nova as we are to beat Loyola. The rest of the region is interesting, Chatanooga has a Kansas transfer big man so they won't get bullied by Kofi Cockburn and Houston can very easily get upset by UAB. Tennessee and Arizona should meet in the Elite 8 but Arizona's starting PG has a nasty ankle sprain so who knows who wins that game.
Midwest Region:
The top half of this region is my favorite of the whole tournament it is comprised exclusively of teams that are hot. Iowa matches up against the red-hot Richmond Spiders while Providence goes against a South Dakota St team that has won 21 straight games. the #1 Kansas may have to play the country's #1 defense in San Diego St and then turn around and play the #1 offense in Iowa. The bottom half is extremely boring Wisconsin has a cakewalk to the Sweet 16 where they should meet Auburn, although I don't think Auburn is very good they're getting way too much hype.
Final 4:
I have Texas Tech playing Kentucky and Arizona playing Kansas with Kansas winning the whole thing. Curious to know what yall are thinking.
