I watched Tennessee lose to UGA but I wasn’t aware BYU had lost at home to 4-6 Kansas until I woke up this morning. BYU is going to tumble, Colorado is 17th, Boise State is 13th. Boise’s loss at #1 Oregon trumps BYU’s loss at home to a team with a losing record, while Colorado’s losses are to Nebraska and Kansas State.
Before the Buckeyes played Northwestern, a buddy asked what the CFP might look like if Boise State goes 12-1, is ranked higher than the Big XII champ and gets the fourth seed. Could the Big XII get shut out of the CFP? I shrugged it off at the time but now wonder if it’s plausible?
