I know many agreed with OSU's decision to turn down the invite and I understand the reasons given, but watching some of the game, Nebraska really took this opportunity as a chance to compete and end the season on a high.  Their reasons to play was probably more to send out some seniors on a high note who gave a lot to the program than to build for next year, but it was good to see.  I also didn't realize that the pocketed some cash for their efforts.  I believe it was $300k for the winning team.
