The New Orleans Pelicans announced Sunday that they've signed former Buckeye star E.J. Liddell to a two-way contract.
Liddell was selected with the No. 41 overall pick in the second round of June's NBA draft. In NBA Summer League action in July, though, Liddell suffered an ACL tear that required surgery and should significantly delay the start of his rookie season.
Terms of Liddell's deal with the Pelicans were not disclosed.
