Good morning and happy (victory) Monday, Buckeye Nation!
Still a bit angry about the way Ohio State played in Evanston Saturday afternoon? Just remember, there are only four FBS teams who have yet to lose this season. The Buckeyes are one of them. Ryan Day's team will be alright.
That said, Ohio State's men's basketball season is set to begin its season tonight, as the Buckeyes will host Robert Morris to tip off its 2022-23 season. With plenty of new faces (both transfers and true freshmen), the Buckeyes have a bunch of talent but there are plenty of unknowns as well, with more questions than answers for Chris Holtmann's squad ahead of the season opener.
So, with that, here's This Week's Question: What are your expectations for the 2022-23 Ohio State men's basketball team? What's its ceiling? Floor? Will they compete for a Big Ten title? Will the Buckeyes make the NCAA Tournament? If so, how far do you think they could go in March?
As I said, there are plenty more questions than answers, but that doesn't mean that Holtmann's team won't be exciting to watch. I just can't believe college basketball season is here. This year truly is flying by.
Hope everyone has a great start to the week!
