Jamison Battle earned a third-place finish at the College 3-Point Championship.
The former Buckeye sharpshooter scored 23 out of 30 possible points in each of the first two rounds of the contest, which featured eight of college basketball’s top 3-point shooters and was held Thursday night in Phoenix. Battle’s total was good enough for second place in the first round, but he came up just short of making the final as he finished third in the semifinals behind Hofstra’s Tyler Thomas (26) and Nebraska’s Keisei Tominaga (24).
