If Ohio State signs Gabe Cupps and Royal,White, and Johnson honor their commitments Ohio State would have 4 players who were awarded the title Mr.Basketball  for the state of Ohio.

Not to, in anyway, disparage this accomplishment but I wondered how many players have left the state to play for academies like IMG and Montverde. I know that Juni Mobley left Reyoldsburg to attend Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas. Two other central Ohio players left the state prior to this season. Westerville South's Cruz McClure(signed with Depaul-offered by Clemson, Dayton, and Cincy) and Columbus Northland's King Kendrick. A few years ago, 5-star recruit Darryn Peterson left the state for Hunington Prep. He has signed with Kansas.

There must be others that have left the Buckeye state and not been considered for Ohio's Mr.Basketball.
