What happened to Sian Cotton after he left Ohio State? An excerpt from
cleveland.com article from 2008:
...he's made a commitment to continue pursuing his dream of playing in the NFL -- even though he's now 23 years old, has kicked around through three universities, and hadn't started a college game until he reached the NAIA level.
"I just love to play football and I'm not ready to give up the dream," Cotton said. "I still want to have a shot."
He thought that shot would come with Ohio State, the school he chose after heavy recruiting from Florida. But after he redshirted his freshman year in 2003 and saw limited time his first two seasons, he grew impatient.
"We tried to tell him he had to wait his turn," said his father, Lee Cotton Sr. "That they're just loaded and that's how it is. I guess he wanted to move on. He wanted to get on the field and he didn't want to wait anymore."
He wasn't committed then either, Cotton admits. Not to football, not to classes. He spent too much time outside the classroom, not enough time working on his game.
"A lot of it was my fault," Cotton said. "Things didn't go the way I wanted them to go." So his Buckeyes defensive coach, Jim Heacock, helped him transfer to Youngstown State, where Heacock's younger brother, Jon, coaches.
Before heading to Youngstown, Cotton was celebrating one last bit of summer fun with his high school buddy LeBron James, when he inadvertently altered his football plans. Cotton said he and James were four-wheeling through James' property, spraying each other with water guns, when Cotton flipped his ATV. He suffered a gash on his left foot that needed 25 stitches to close.
But the cut didn't heal properly, and Cotton needed a skin graft and more than a year off his foot before he was able to play football again.

Excerpt From the 2016 Ohio State Team Guide:
Cameron Johnston has been one of the outstanding punters in the nation the past three years and he enters his senior season a legitimate candidate for post-season honors and the Ray Guy Award … Johnston has helped the Buckeyes’ lead the Big Ten in net punting in each of the past three years and to national rankings of fifth, fifth and 15th in 2013, 2014 and 2015, respectively … Johnston has led the Big Ten in punting in 2013 and 2014 with averages of 44.0 and 45.1 yards, respectively, and he was second last year with an average of 43.9 … his career average of 44.3 ranks third all-time at Ohio State and it complements nicely his three school records for punts inside the 20 for a career (83) and season (31 in 2015), and his 57.0 yards per punt game average vs. Illinois in 2014 … he has produced eight games with over a 50-yard punting average … led the nation – unofficially, according to stats produced by the FBS SIDs – in 2013 in percentage of punts downed inside the 20 and 10 and was second in both categories in 2014 … graduated in August with his degree in sport industry.
No. 95 In The NFL Draft: Zero.
It is surprising that not one player that has worn the No. 95 for Ohio State has been selected in the NFL Draft. The talented Cameron Johnston wasn't even able to put an end to the drought. Of all the great defensive linemen to play at Ohio State and Blake Haubeil, a kicker, might be the first player wearing No. 95 to get drafted.
