This will be the 92nd time Ohio State and Indiana have faced each other in football. If the teams shared home field advantage evenly, this would be the 47th time for the Buckeyes to host. However, things aren't even and this will be the 62nd game of this series played in Ohio Stadium.
The Bucks hold a 74–12–5* advantage in the all-time series and are 47–10–4* in the 'Shoe. To put that in perspective, Penn State has played Ohio State 34 times and owns two more victories over the Scarlet and Gray than what Indiana has.

THE COACHES
Urban Meyer

Meyer was born in Toledo and grew up in Ashtabula. He attended Cincinnati where he played football. He started his coaching career as a defensive backs coach at St. Xavier in 1985. Meyer then took a GA position with Ohio State between 1986 and 1987. His next stops were Illinois State (1988-89), Colorado State (1990-95) and Notre Dame (1996-2000).
Bowling Green (2001-02) was his first stop as a head coach. He then had stints in Utah (2003-04) and Florida (2005-10) before coming back to the great state of Ohio.
Tom Allen

Tom Allen was born in New Castle, IN and attended college at Maranatha Baptist University and Indiana.
Allen started his coaching career at Temple Heights High School (FL) in 1992. He bounced around several high schools until he landed at Indianapolis' Ben Davis HS. Allen started as a defensive coordinator in 1998 until taking over the head job in 2004.
In 2007, Allen made the leap to coaching at the collegiate level. Wabash hired him as a defensive backs and special teams coach. Following stops at five different schools, Allen eventually landed at Indiana as its defensive coordinator in January of 2016. After Kevin Wilson resigned on December 1, 2016, Allen was named Indiana's head coach.
