“Jameson Williams has been very impressive with us this summer,” Saban said at SEC Media Days. “We felt like we needed somebody who has juice and speed at receiver to complement the players that we have and some experience because we’ve lost four first-round draft picks in the last two years at that position. And he certainly has not disappointed us in how he’s added those elements to our offense, especially in what we’ve seen this summer.”
Williams’ impressive showing during UA’s summer workouts carried over into fall camp, where the former Buckeye has stood out during preseason practices, sources told BamaOnLine. The 6-foot-2, 189-pound wide receiver is poised to make an immediate impact for the Tide.
