Welcome back to Friday Night Fights.
This is your chance to prove to yourself, or to others, that you are an expert in predicting Ohio State's football success. FNF keeps the receipts and shows everyone how good your takes were – if you are feeling particularly bold, get in the comments and defend your take.
When we last fought, Chip Trayanum ripped out the hearts of every man, woman, and child in South Bend, Indiana. Congratulations to AkronBuckeye13 for my FNF Take of the Week:
(Let's just imagine that they meant to say "end" instead of "half". Yeah. That's the spirit.)
Here's how FNF works:
- Vote in the Strawpolls for each question.
- Comment below with how you think the game will go. Be bold, funny, correct, or a mixture of the three.
- Check in on Fridays to see if your take gets framed. Then we'll rinse and repeat next Friday.
Here's how you voted last week:
Question 1: Ohio State's last three starting quarterbacks averaged 332 passing yards in their first game against a top-15 opponent. How will Kyle do?
The Domer secondary turned out to be a tough draw, but Kyle came through when it mattered.
Question 2: In eight chances, TreVeyon Henderson has only rushed for 100 yards once against a ranked opponent. Can he buck the trend?
(Sure, most of those yards came on one singular run, but that's just the TreVeyon Experience.)
Question 3: Which defensive end will record a sack first?
While the DEs aren't officially credited with any sacks, in our hearts we know that JT sacked Hartman on Notre Dame's final drive.
Question 4: Ohio State's offensive player of the game will come from what position room?
Kyle McKrenzel earning his well-deserved plaudits.
Question 5: Ohio State's defensive player of the game will come from what position room?
Kinda funny how the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week wasn't Ohio State's defensive player of the game. I threw Sonny in alone because he's basically his own position.
Question 6: Ohio State. Notre Dame. Under the lights. How does this one end?
NEVER WORRIED, BABY. GO BUCKS.
