I realize this is way, way too early, but I can't help looking at the road ahead in the conference. Let's be optimists and start with the assumption that our Buckeyes win out. Not guaranteed, but they have a good shot. Indiana plays almost nobody other than us, same can be said for the remainder of Penn State's season. Obviously one or all of us could trip up unexpectedly, but barring that, we would get the last big ten championship spot since we would have head to head right? 3 way tiebreakers get murky to me.
Bigger chaos scenario: Oregon comes out flat next week and Illinois pulls off the shocker. If I looked at the schedules right, that gives us the chance that there are a whopping 5 teams with one loss vying for 2 spots. Anybody have any insight on who would go in that case? Ohio State would have 2 wins over that group, and Indiana would be the only team without any.
