It was refreshing to hear Ryan Day speak those words in such an honest fashion during the postgame interviews. Many have been saying how it is a platform for the push through the end of the season, but I think this could be Day's watershed moment, and that their performance and results were program-defining.
At least from an attitude standpoint, it was great to see the coaches and team show how they had fun rather than 'feel relief to not lose'. Of course, as fans we can only hope that they truly have moved on from the 'play to not lose' mentality to being absolutely aggressive in playing complimentary football for the rest of the season. Hopefully, this gets Will to improve that 1-inch more, too.
Here's to hoping that the PSU game was the like Urban's 2012 team toasting water at the MSU game, or Francis' famous line of putting on pants one leg at a time... super hyped for what this team can do to finish this season out and beyond...
