This Saturday was monstrous for those of us who enjoy chaos, especially in the SEC. With UGA losing, Bama crushing LSU, and Missouri winning, we very likely see 6-7 teams with two or fewer losses by the end of the regular season.
In case this occurs, do you think we'll see them all get favorable treatment and we end up with 5 or more SEC teams in the playoffs, or will this be a true cannibalization and we only have 3 or so?
The SEC winner and runner up are obviously in. I don't see the committee keeping UGA put but if both them and Ole Miss win out can you keep out Ole Miss? Same to be said for Bama if they win out as they beat UGA in a game not as close as the score.
I could see them making an argument for Texas, Tennessee, A&M, UGA, Bama, Ole Miss.
Whereas in the Big Ten we likely could have an argument for Oregon, OSU, Penn State, Indiana.
Of those 10 teams which ones get kept out?
