"We're not going to change who we are. We're going to play man coverage like we do every week. We're going to go out there and challenge their receivers." - Notre Dame freshman All-American Leonard Moore pic.twitter.com/PcUEgjwumI

I know this likely isn't breaking news to anyone. Notre Dame has primarily played man coverage all season long, so nobody expected Al Golden to completely abandon it for this game. However, although this statement has no bearing on the outcome Monday, it does increase my confidence with the level of arrogance that some people affiliated with the ND program are exerting ahead of the game.
Perhaps I'm reading too much into this. His statement in itself isn't necessarily arrogant. It's not like he said, "We're going to lock down their receivers." However, when he says, "We're going to challenge their receivers," you have to wonder if he thinks Ohio State's receivers are comparable to the other receivers they've faced this season.
All I have to say is I really hope Al Golden and the Notre Dame defensive backs are arrogant enough to think they can lock down our receivers 1 on 1.
