I had multiple thoughts going on in the second half of the Notre Dame game once we got up by a score of 31 to 7. As a fan I wanted to see a blowout but told my wife my confidence level was at an all time high because Notre Dame would have to score 24 unanswered points. They did score 16 and I did get nervous but never completely freaked out knowing the offense would only have to make one play. Not to take away from what Notre Dame did but it did feel like Ohio State took their foot off the gas a little. In the first half Ohio state attempted 15 passes and in the second half only attempted 6 passes on 5 possessions. Did Ohio State take their foot off the gas knowing that Notre Dame would have to score 24 unanswered points? Not that it matters we won the game. This is just for the fun of conversation.
