Losing Conley, Hooker and potentially Lattimore will definitely sting initially, but that sting wont last long if all goes to plan this weekend.
With Okudah and Holmes announcing at the Army game, that would give Ohio State the top 2 corners in the 2017 class. Okudah has been in for a while and tonight, a UCLA insider on scout said it's over, Holmes is going to be a Buckeye. Wiltfong has been stating for weeks that unless something drastically changes, Holmes will be a Buckeye and the Rivals national team stated just as much.
That wont be the end of it, though.. Texas A&M insider, Taylor Hamm, put in a crystal ball for former 5 star corner Kendall Sheffield to Ohio State. Sheffield is an early enrollee so his decision has to be made by Monday if he's going to be a Buckeye. He plans on playing for one year before turning pro and Ohio State gives him the best opportunity to do so with Schiano as his coach and all 3 corner spots being open next season.
Ohio State could end this week gaining the commitments from three 5 star defensive backs, what a time to be a Buckeye.
