After an 0-3 start, the Bengals chances of making the playoffs at this point are virtually slim to none. As a Bengals fan I am hoping the Browns come out of this one with their first win of the season today. No point in screwing up the draft position now. Then, hopefully the Bengals will be one step closer to firing Marvin "Giggles" Lewis, and the new coach will have a top draft pick to work with.

Call me a terrible fan if you want, after 35+ years of fandom I have had enough. This franchise will never take the next step under Marvin Lewis, and probably then not until Mike Brown is put into an old folks home. I hope the window isn't already closed.

Unfortunately, if Marvin is fired at seasons end, I don't trust Brown to make the right coaching hire anyway. So I expect more of the same until he is finally put out to pasture.

Anyway, enjoy the game if that's even possible, and we will see after 60 minutes which team managed to suck less. I just hope both teams don't suck so bad that they have to go to overtime and the fans are subjected to more than 60 minutes of bad football.
