The Ohio State pistol team is a national champion again.
Ohio State captured the overall national championship at the Intercollegiate Pistol Championships on Saturday by placing first in the team air pistol, team sport pistol and team standard pistol championships.

Full results from the championship were not immediately available, but Katelyn Abeln, Sam Gens and brothers Henry and Jackson Leverett helped lead Ohio State to the title by all advancing to the air pistol final on the first day of the event.

The win continues a run of national championships for the pistol team, which previously won six open national championships and six women’s national championships. The Buckeyes are overall champions for the second year in a row after winning both the open and women’s titles last year, while they also won the open title in 2000, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018 and the women's team title in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2009 and 2017.
