The second-ranked Ohio State men's tennis team beat archrival and seventh-ranked Michigan on Friday night, 4-1, at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center in Columbus.

Sophomore JJ Tracy won in straight sets (6-2, 6-3) as did graduate senior Jake Van Emburgh (6-1, 6-3). Junior Cannon Kingsley sealed the win for the Buckeyes, who started the match by winning the doubles point, with a third-set win.
The win snapped a 13-match winning streak for Michigan and gave the Buckeyes sole possession of first place in the Big Ten at 6-0 (21-2 overall). Michigan dropped to 16-3 overall and 6-1 in the Big Ten.
