Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Mark Titus, the former Ohio State walk-on turned best-selling author, is the historical authority on Even Turner, current Boston Celtic and former National Player of the Year.
Their basketball careers predictably went their separate ways after Ohio State's 2010 tournament run, but Titus pulled no punches in his reflections on Turner in his 2013 classic Don't Put Me in Coach. It walked such a fine line many people wondered, "Is this the schtick of brothers or an actual feud?"
With the Wolverine killer's No. 21 set to be lifted into the Schottenstein Center's rafters tonight, the Shark took to Twitter to settle all accounts with the man he dubbed the Villain.
The Villain is getting his number retired tonight. I have some thoughts. Let's work through this together.

First off: He absolutely deserves this. Ill tell my grandkids about ETs 2010 season. He carried an average team to B1G title and Sweet 16.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
Our team was 4.5-deep that year. If he couldve, Thad wouldve only played 4 guys every game. We were basically the OSU Turners.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
Just look what happened those games he sat out. We were a mess. If my ass wasnt completely out of shape, I might have had to play.

Too many people remember his TOs or the Tennessee upset. Instead, remember the 2nd half at Purdue, the UM shot, the FSU game, at MSU, etc.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
Ive been teammates with some great players. None of them can touch ETs 2010. I honestly feel lucky to have had a front row seat for that.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
But theres another part of The Villain's story we need to talk about.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
ET was, to put it bluntly, a dick when he got to OSU. I was too, but at least I owned it. He had a massive chip on his shoulder from Day 1.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
Our feud was initially 100% real. We were both instigators. I thought he was too mean-spirited. He thought I was overstepping my bounds.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
We were both right. Either way, we butted heads. A LOT. He threw punches a few times. But, like most of his passes, they didnt connect.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
Eventually, he understood my shtick. He never truly accepted it, but at least he knew why I always singled him out. That helped.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
We still fought every so often, but it was as brothers more than enemies.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
And then he wore a CLUB TRIL shirt during warm-ups on my senior night. That changed everything. Ill always love the dude for that.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
Six years later, I'm his biggest fan. I actually get excited to see ET. Weve both matured. Its a blast to reminisce with him.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
That hes turned into an awesome dude to be around and the best interview in the NBA is cooler than anything hes ever done on a court.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
So yes Ill be there tonight. Ill wear my shitty iron-on shirt I made just for this and Ill cheer louder than anyone. I might even cry.
— Mark Titus (@clubtrillion) February 16, 2016
Titus, however, wasn't content to leave us with a candid note:
That said, hes still a jealous doucher who blocked me on Twitter. So if you want to troll him for me, heres ammo. pic.twitter.com/0ivqQKTH1X

So there you have it, folks. We might even see some tears from the Shark tonight. This is truly a watershed moment in one of the greatest chapters of #BuckeyeLove.
