This time it's official.

After it was reported on May 1 — and then later denied — Kam Williams would return to Ohio State for his senior season, the Buckeyes sharpshooting guard confirmed Wednesday on his personal Instagram account he would, in fact, be back for a fifth year.

Kam Williams is returning to Ohio State.

Williams' name was surprisingly included on the list of underclassmen early entrants for the 2017 NBA Draft. He did not receive an invite to the draft combine, however, and opted to return to Columbus for his final season of eligibility.

Williams appeared in all 32 games last season for Ohio State, which finished the year just 17-15. He made 29 starts and averaged 9.4 points per game and shot 37.6 percent from behind the 3-point line. For his career, Williams is a 39 percent 3-point shooter.

The Buckeyes did lose one player early to the pros, however, as redshirt junior Trevor Thompson opted to sign with an agent which automatically disqualified him from returning to Ohio State for his final season.
