Brian Hartline gets his guy yet again.
There were some late fireworks today as the Buckeyes added to what is already the nation's top-rated 2022 recruiting class. Four-star Georgia wideout Kojo Antwi has committed to Ohio State, giving Brian Hartline yet another major win on the trail.

Antwi has long been a top target for the Buckeyes. The offer was extended last November and Hartline then went to work to reel in yet another one of the nation's top wideouts. It was far from easy, however, as Antwi was coveted by all of the SEC programs and has some family ties to various schools.
The Antwi File
- Class: 2022
- Size: 6-foot/190 lbs.
- Pos: WR
- School: Lambert (Suwanee, GA)
- Composite Rating: ★★★★
- Composite Rank: 115 (16 WR)
He comes from a tight-knit family that arrived in the United States from Ghana shortly after he was born. Antwi has four older siblings with one of his brothers residing about an hour away from College Station. That was something working in the Aggies' favor. He announced his decision on his mother's 60th birthday and would eventually like to help the kids in his native land.
Ohio State was in a great spot early on despite the pandemic and the inability for prospects to get to college campuses. Georgia, Texas A&M, and Alabama looked like the top competition, and at various points, it seemed as though the Dawgs and Aggies had grabbed the upper hand.
Antwi made an official visit to Athens on June 4. He then headed to College Station before finally making it to Columbus on the weekend of June 18. USC actually got the final visit, but most never really viewed the Trojans as a serious threat.
During his trip to Ohio State, Antwi was able to get some needed face-to-face time with Hartline. He's discussed wanting to find a receiver-friendly offense. And while the Buckeyes fit that mold, it was important to learn how he may be utilized in the nation's most talented receiver room. He clearly got the answers that he was looking for, and that extends to the academic side as well. The education piece was a major part of the family's decision.

Prospect Rating Data: 247Sports |
A strong wideout who rarely comes off the field for the Lambert Longhorns program, Antwi caught 44 passes for 795 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. He has the ability to play on the outside and in the slot, though he's primarily been used as an outside receiver at Lambert.
The fourth wide receiver commitment for Hartline's 2022 class, he joins Caleb Burton, Kyion Grayes, and Kaleb Brown to form yet another stellar haul at the position. Antwi should be the final piece of the 2022 receiver puzzle and will compete for playing time with players like Emeka Egbuka, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Jayden Ballard.
As the 16th pledge for Ryan Day's 2022 recruiting class, the Antwi addition is a big-time win against the SEC and strengthens Ohio State's hold atop the national team rankings. The Buckeyes have a solid lead over programs like Notre Dame, Florida State, LSU, and Georgia. Moving forward, there will be a heavy focus in the trenches and at safety.
