Ohio State had a productive recruiting weekend.

Dozens of prospects flocked to Columbus on Saturday for the Buckeyes’ scrimmage, including premier players such as five-star 2026 safety Bralan Womack and five-star 2026 offensive lineman Darius Gray. The visit moved the needle for both, and each should return sometime this summer for an official visit.

Five-star Ohio State wide receiver commit Chris Henry Jr. was back on campus, and spent a lot of time around 2028 standout wide receiver Eric McFarland, who could be a future five-star prospect himself. McFarland was one of the more notable surprise recruits in attendance Saturday, along with 2026 offensive lineman J.B. Shabazz

But there also was a pretty important offer extended over the weekend to a 2026 prospect that we’ll touch on below. Additionally, two were offers given to players from the 2027 class on Monday.

Damon “Nuddle” Ferguson

Carlos Locklyn continues to expand his running back board for the 2026 class. Locklyn offered four-star Maryland prospect Damon Ferguson on Saturday following his visit to Ohio State.

Per 247Sports’ composite rankings, Ferguson is considered the No. 366 prospect and No. 27 running back in the 2026 class.

He’s earned 42 Division I offers, including North Carolina, Duke, Indiana, Arkansas, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Cincinnati, NC State, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin.

In his junior season, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Ferguson rushed for 1,341 yards on 105 carries and 16 rushing touchdowns.

Ferguson currently has official visits scheduled with Indiana, North Carolina, Duke, Pittsburgh and Virginia this summer, but he’ll likely add Ohio State to the mix following the offer. It’s unclear at the moment Ferguson’s place in the pecking order compared to other priority OSU running back targets, but there’s certainly some mutual interest from both parties here regardless.

Damani Warren

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Brian Hartline has offered another standout wide receiver. Four-star Nevada product Damani Warren is the latest wideout to pick up an offer from the Buckeyes as Hartline offered the 2027 prospect on Monday.

Warren is rated the No. 27 prospect and No. 4 wide receiver in the 2027 cycle. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound standout has earned 34 Division I offers, including Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Mizzou, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin.

As a sophomore, Warren caught 35 passes for 584 yards and five receiving touchdowns.

Zac Fares

Keenan Bailey offered his sixth tight end in the 2027 cycle on Monday, as he offered Nevada prospect Zac Fares.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Fares doesn’t hold a composite ranking as of yet but has earned nearly 30 Division I offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin.

Fares and Warren are high school teammates and play for Arbor View High School in Las Vegas. Last year, Fares caught 35 passes for 614 yards and three touchdowns.

Carsyn Baker visiting OSU Tuesday

A priority Ohio State running back target is making his way back to campus.

Four-star Georgia prospect Carsyn Baker confirmed he’ll be taking an unofficial visit to Columbus Tuesday, which will give him an ample opportunity to watch the Buckeyes practice. Baker has already confirmed an official visit to OSU for June 13 and plans to visit Clemson, Florida State and Texas A&M this summer as well.
