Gabe VanSickle's flip from Northwestern to Ohio State is complete.
VanSickle signed his National Letter of Intent to Ohio State on Wednesday, helping to fill out the Buckeyes' offensive line class for this cycle.

After missing out on some of its priority offensive line targets, like Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star Brandon Baker, the Buckeyes began their pursuit of VanSickle, extending an offer to the then-Northwestern commit on Nov. 7.
Just a few days later, VanSickle was in Columbus visiting Ohio State for the Michigan State game. He committed to the Buckeyes in another two weeks, pledging his services on Nov. 23 after decommitting from the Wildcats two days prior.
VanSickle, a three-star prospect, is the No. 605 recruit in the country and the No. 42 interior offensive lineman according to 247Sports' composite rankings. He's also Ohio State's only commitment from Michigan.

Even as a player viewed as a more developmental addition, VanSickle brings some good physical tools to the table. He excels at pulling either to kick or lead block on a play, and he's got an aggressive physicality off the snap of the football.
Four-star interior offensive lineman Ian Moore, four-star offensive tackle Deontae Armstrong and three-staring interior offensive lineman Devontae Armstrong join VanSickle along the front five in Ohio State's 2024 recruiting class.
