Per 247Sports’ composite rankings, Dixon-Wyatt is considered the No. 139 prospect and the No. 24 wide receiver in the 2026 cycle. Dixon-Wyatt plays at California powerhouse Mater Dei High School and is teammates with OSU five-star wideout commit Chris Henry Jr.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Dixon-Wyatt visited Columbus earlier this fall with Henry for the season opener against Akron.
So far in his junior season, Dixon-Wyatt has caught 32 passes for 459 yards and three touchdowns.
Michigan reportedly making lucrative NIL pitch to five-star QB Bryce Underwood
A popular catchphrase Michigan fans amusingly coined when describing the 2023 national championship team was “built, not bought.” Seemingly, that mindset has gone out the window once they got a glimpse of their current crop of quarterbacks.
Per On3’s Pete Nakos, the Wolverines are ramping up their pursuit of five-star 2025 signal caller Bryce Underwood, a Michigan product who’s committed to LSU. They’re willing to make a significant investment to keep Underwood home too, as Michigan is reportedly offering an NIL package that could be valued above $5 million over the next three to four years. Per the report, Underwood will likely land around that much in NIL money regardless of where he chooses to play collegiately, but Michigan has become a very real threat to flip Underwood.
Some rumors have circulated that Underwood may visit Ann Arbor for Michigan’s upcoming game against Oregon, but those have not been confirmed as of yet. The only two home games Michigan has remaining are against Oregon and Northwestern.
It’s no secret the Wolverines are in dire need of a top-tier quarterback prospect, as the current crop leaves a lot to be desired. One would assume Michigan could pitch Underwood on playing time from day one, though pitching the skill players he’d be throwing to might be a harder sell.
Either way, this figures to be a battle through National Signing Day.
Five-star QB Jared Curtis visiting Ohio State next month
In case you missed it Monday, Ohio State will have the top quarterback in the 2026 class on campus next month. Five-star Tennessee signal-caller Jared Curtis will headline the Buckeyes’ recruiting visitor list for their game against Indiana on Nov. 23. Curtis, who recently decommitted from Georgia, is also set to visit Auburn this weekend, Oregon on Nov. 9, Georgia on Nov. 16 and Alabama on Nov. 30.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Curtis is considered the No. 4 prospect and No. 1 quarterback in the 2026 class per 247Sports' composite rankings.
Ohio State was high on Curtis' list around the time he committed to Georgia in March, so the Buckeyes could have at least a puncher's chance in this recruitment. All the momentum seems to be with Oregon since he's reopened his recruitment. Ohio State can change that next month, however.
So far in his junior season, the Tennessee prospect has completed 70 percent of his passes for 2,116 yards, 26 touchdowns and three interceptions while running for 411 yards and 12 scores for Nashville Christian School (Nashville, Tennessee).
