Columbus is hosting NHL All Star Weekend, and the Blue Jackets' biggest star played to the home crowd with a tribute to Braxton Miller during the Skills Competition on Saturday night.
Before his first shot of the Breakaway Challenge, Johansen took off his Blue Jackets jersey to reveal a No. 5 Ohio State jersey underneath. (Not) Concidentally, that's Miller's number.
Of course, it didn't escape No. 5's attention.

Ryan Johansen pulled out all the stops: not only did he wear Miller's jersey on his first shot, he scooped up a kid to take his second shot and finished with a flying V on his third shot.
The stunt worked out well for Johansen, as he ended up winning the skills competition. It pays to know your audience.
