Former Ohio State defensive end Steve Miller has signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Carolina Panthers, the team announced Monday. Miller is one of 10 undrafted free agents to agree to terms with the reigning NFC South champions.

Miller, the 6-foot-3 and 256-pound Canton McKinley product, was a four-year player in Columbus for the Buckeyes. As a senior he started at the defensive end spot opposite Joey Bosa and recorded 34 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and one sack.

The play he'll most be remembered for, however, came in Ohio State's 42-35 win over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl where Miller intercepted a pass from Crimson Tide quarterback Blake Sims and returned it 41 yards for a touchdown.

In Carolina, Miller will team up with four other former Buckeyes: Philly Brown, Kurt Coleman, Ted Ginn Jr. and Andrew Norwell.
