Nate Ebner is another step closer to Olympic glory.

The former Ohio State standout and current New England special teams ace is taking a football hiatus this summer in pursuit of a Gold Medal in this summer's Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. On Thursday, the United States Men's Rugby team announced Ebner's selection to its Hong Kong Sevens team. He replaces Carlin Isles, who is sidelined by injury.

The Hong Kong Sevens is a prestigious annual international rugby sevens tournament, which starts tomorrow in, you guessed it, Hong Kong.
