Ohio State named three captains of its football team in January: Quarterback J.T. Barrett, center Pat Elflein and middle linebacker Raekwon McMillan. Friday, Urban Meyer's 2016 team added four more names to its leadership panel.
Joe Burger, Gareon Conley, Billy Price and Tyquan Lewis are also captains for the season, as decided by a team vote and announced via a press release by the program Friday.

Burger is a fifth-year senior linebacker from LaSalle High School in Cincinnati, a former walk-on who earned a scholarship this winter and will remain on for the fall.
Conley is a redshirt junior cornerback from Massillon Washington High School, the lone returning starter in the team's secondary.
Lewis is a redshirt junior from Tarboro High School in North Carolina who led the 2015 Buckeyes with 8.0 sacks.
And Price, a redshirt junior from Austintown Fitch High School, is set to start at right guard for Ohio State this fall. It will be his third season as a starter.
Barrett served as a team captain last season. He joined Joshua Perry, Jacoby Boren, Braxton Miller, Tyvis Powell and Taylor Decker.
The seven captains for the 2016 team is the most ever under Meyer in his Ohio State tenure.
