Grant played for the Buckeyes from 2011-14 and came to Columbus as a five-star recruit. He was the starting middle linebacker on Ohio State's 2014 national title team. Grant has spent time with six teams since entering the league in 2015.

A senior member of Ohio State's national title team from 2014, Grant was placed on the waived/injured list Saturday. Grant was drafted in the fourth round of the 2015 draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers but was waived last fall. If Grant clears waivers, he will be added to the Jaguars injured reserve list.
Linebacker Joshua Perry, Los Angeles Chargers
The former Ohio State linebacker was placed on the waived/injured list by the Chargers on Saturday. If Perry clears waivers, he will land on the Chargers injured reserve list. He tallied 22 total tackles during his rookie season after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 draft.
Safety Tyvis Powell, Indianapolis Colts
Powell was also placed on the waived/injured list by the Colts, who grabbed Powell off waivers from the Cleveland Browns in June. Powell was waived by the Seattle Seahawks just before the playoffs in 2016-17. He was signed by the Seahawks as a free agent after going un-drafted in the 2016 NFL draft.
