Ohio State redshirt junior quarterback Joe Burrow, who graduated Sunday, announced Tuesday he will transfer.
"My teammates and coaches all know the love I feel for them," Burrow tweeted. And indeed they do, as a wave of former Buckeye teammates voiced their support in the immediate aftermath of the decision.
Quarterback Dwayne Haskins, the presumptive 2018 starter:
Good luck to you brotha! Appreciate you for making me better, see you at the top https://t.co/aGUS8WpGE8

Quarterback Tate Martell, the presumptive 2018 backup:
My dawg, this hurts to know you wont be here anymore because you made everyone on our team a better person when you were around. Thanks for being someone I could lean on during my struggles. The next school is going to be getting a special player! Love you brotha. https://t.co/laGH6xYLPp

Athletic reporter Bruce Feldman added this tidbit after a recent trip to Columbus:
One thing I heard a lot of from the players I spoke to when I visited #OhioState a few weeks ago was how close and supportive the other Buckeye QBs were of each other in the competition. Not surprised to see Dwayne Haskins tweet something like this to Joe Burrow. https://t.co/e2y50G1kwN
