Two former Ohio State football players were honored Friday when the Associated Press announced its annual NFL All-Pro teams.
Former Ohio State and current New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas was named as a first-team AP All-Pro on Friday, while former Ohio State and current Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott received second-team honors.
Thomas finished second in voting among all wide receivers with 21 votes, behind only Houston Texas wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (46), while Elliott finished second in voting among all running backs (15), behind only Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley (25).
Among other former Buckeyes, Marshon Lattimore also received three votes at cornerback for his play with the Saints this year, while Malcolm Jenkins received one vote at safety for his play with the Philadelphia Eagles.
