Ohio State lands three transfer commitments in two hours: CJ Donaldson Jr., Logan George and Max Klare.
A date is set for Ohio State's spring game – maybe.
During his Wednesday press conference, Ryan Day announced that Ohio State was "hoping" to play its spring game on April 17 with a mid-March start to spring practices, but that is not set in stone.
Though Ohio State remains in COVID-19 protocols, Day said they plan to have "somewhat normal spring," with about six weeks of winter workouts followed by a standard spring practice schedule.
Ohio State held just three spring practices last season before the Big Ten suspended all team activities as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. The team's annual spring game was also canceled due to the pandemic.
Spring practice will give Ohio State's 15 early enrollees a chance to practice with the team during their first few months in school – an opportunity that was not afforded last year's class. It will also provide valuable reps and practice time as Ohio State looks for its next starting quarterback out of C.J. Stroud, Jack Miller and Kyle McCord.
