Justin Fields' first NFL start will be in the Buckeye State.

Ohio State's former starting quarterback will make his first start at the next level on Sunday and fittingly, it will take place in Ohio as Fields is set to start for the Chicago Bears on the road against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Bears head coach Matt Nagy announced on Wednesday.

Fields will start in place of Andy Dalton, who suffered a non-contact ankle injury while running towards the sideline in Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Dalton did not return to the game and in his place, Fields went 6-for-13 for 61 yards through the air with an interception along with 10 rushes for 31 yards to lead the Bears to victory.

Though this will be his first start, Fields has appeared in both of Chicago's games so far this season, completing both of his pass attempts in the season opener against the Los Angeles Rams along with a three-yard touchdown run – the first of his NFL career.

Despite the move, Nagy reiterated that once Dalton recovers from his injury, he will remain the team's starter.
