The Buckeyes and Badgers will kick off at 7:30 p.m. in Madison, Wisconsin two Saturdays from now with NBC televising the game, the Big Ten announced Monday.

In the first year of the Big Ten’s new television deal, the Wisconsin game will be Ohio State’s second night game on NBC this season as the Buckeyes’ Sept. 23 win over Notre Dame was also a 7:30 p.m. game on NBC. Ohio State is also scheduled to play a 7:30 p.m. NBC game home on Nov. 11 when it hosts Michigan State at Ohio Stadium.
Next week’s game in Madison will be Ohio State’s first trip to Camp Randall Stadium since 2016, when the Buckeyes battled past the Badgers for a 30-23 overtime win.
Wisconsin currently holds a 4-2 record in its first season under head coach Luke Fickell, a former Ohio State player and defensive coordinator who served as the Buckeyes' interim head coach in 2011.
Ohio State is 63-18-5 all-time against Wisconsin, with a nine-game winning streak in the series that dates back to a 31-18 Badger win in 2010. That includes three victories in the Big Ten Championship Game in 2014, 2017 and 2019.
Wisconsin will be looking to buck that trend and keep pace in the Big Ten West, where it trails Iowa by half a game after suffering a 15-6 loss to the Hawkeyes this past weekend. The Badgers are likely to be without their starting quarterback, however, as Tanner Mordecai underwent surgery on Sunday after breaking his hand.

The Buckeyes will hope to further their own ambitions to make the Big Ten Championship Game, though their chances of winning the Big Ten East will depend significantly on whether they can take care of business at home against fellow unbeaten Penn State this week.
