Rivalry week is in full swing at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
In a game that needs little buildup, Saturday's contest between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Michigan has plenty of it as the pair of archrivals will compete for a Big Ten Championship appearance and likely a College Football Playoff spot.
Ryan Day, Jim Knowles, Denzel Burke, Kyle McCord, Emeka Egbuka, Cody Simon and Marvin Harrison Jr. all spoke with reporters on Tuesday and gave their thoughts on Michigan, but Burke had the most interesting comments. Burke said he has no problem playing the role of the "villain" against Michigan and confidently boasted that the Buckeyes are “gonna get it done for the state of Ohio.”
Much like Jim Harbaugh on Monday, Day had no interest in talking about his coaching counterpart in The Game on Tuesday as bad blood between the two sides seems to be as strong as it’s ever been amid the ongoing Michigan sign-stealing scandal.
Eleven Warriors' Dan Hope and Andy Anders set the stage for the highly anticipated rivalry game and discuss what stood out to them most from Tuesday’s media availability – the only one the Buckeyes will hold this week – in our Michigan week edition of Press Coverage.
