Football season is officially here.
Ohio State began the first of 25 fall practices on Thursday, as the Buckeyes prepare for the season opener against Akron on Aug. 31.
Every position group except quarterbacks donned guardian caps on the helmets, and the Buckeyes won't wear pads for the first few practices.
Sonny Styles, Carnell Tate and Jeremiah Smith were among the standouts from Day One of fall camp.
