The Buckeyes’ Big Ten opener will only be available on streaming.
Peacock, NBC's streaming outlet, will air Ohio State's matchup at Michigan State on Sept. 28. The game will kick off at 7 p.m.
It will be the second time the Buckeyes play a game exclusively on Peacock, joining a 41-7 win over Purdue on Oct. 14, 2023. As part of the conference's $7 billion media rights deal that started last season, nine Big Ten games this year will stream exclusively on Peacock.
Michigan State is off to a 3-0 start in 2024 under new head coach Jonathan Smith, including a tight 27-24 victory over Maryland for Smith's first Big Ten win. The Spartans face Boston College in Week 4 before their showdown with Ohio State.
The Buckeyes hold a 37-15 record all-time over Michigan State and are currently on an eight-game winning streak in their series with the Spartans. Each of Ohio State's last seven victories has come by 20 points or more, including a 38-3 drubbing of MSU in 2023.
