Ohio State's 2025 football schedule is set.
While the non-conference opponents and dates have been known for a while, the Big Ten released the dates OSU is slated to compete against its nine conference foes for the 2025 season.
While the 2024 schedule featured eight home games and four road contests, 2025 will have seven contests at Ohio Stadium and five road matchups. OSU also has two off weeks, one coming on the weekend of Sept. 20 and the other on Oct. 25.
Ohio State opens its season with a tough test, taking on College Football Playoff qualifier Texas on Aug. 30 at Ohio Stadium. It then faces Grambling on Sept. 6 and Ohio on Sept. 13 before taking its first off week.
The Buckeyes open conference play with a road matchup against Washington on Sept. 27 and return home for a contest with Minnesota on Oct. 4.
Ohio State then plays two contests on the road, at Illinois and at Wisconsin, before taking its second off week of the year. The Buckeyes return to Ohio Stadium for a Nov. 1 clash with Penn State, then travel to West Lafayette for a showdown with Purdue on Nov. 8.
OSU closes its home slate with a pair of games against UCLA (Nov. 15) and Rutgers (Nov. 22) before concluding the regular season with the greatest rivalry game in college football against Michigan on Nov. 29 in Ann Arbor.
