The honors continue to pour in for Kelsey Mitchell as she was named a second team AP All-American on Monday afternoon.
The high-scoring guard finished the season as the nation's third leading scorer, averaging 24.5 points per game shooting a lights out 40.8 percent from three-point range, but she also had one of the most complete seasons of her career, averaging 3.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.
This is Mitchell second All-American honor this year, as she was also named a second team All-American by ESPNW. She was also named the co-Big Ten Player of the Year and the Big Ten Tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
Mitchell finished her Buckeye career as not only the top scorer in Ohio State history, but passed Missouri State's Jackie Stiles in her final game to take second on the NCAA Division I all-time scoring list.
