In her first game with 10-plus shot attempts of the season, Rebeka Mikulasikova notched 18 points while shooting an efficient 7-of-10 from the field and 3-of-5 from 3-point range. Celeste Taylor had her first double-double as a Buckeye, totaling 15 points, 12 rebounds (six offensive), three assists, two steals and one block.

The Buckeyes led by five after the first quarter, 15 at halftime, and cruised through the second half to earn the top-20 win.

Second half
On cruise control, the Buckeyes continued to outscore Tennesee, 20-16, in the third quarter to take a 19-point lead into the fourth quarter. Head coach Kevin McGuff made sure plenty of players received time in the final quarter given Ohio State's dominance through the first three quarters of the game as 10 total Buckeyes saw the floor, nine of whom had at least two shots with seven total OSU players scoring in the game.
