Recruiting is the lifeblood of collegiate sport, and Ohio State continues to recruit at an elite level. Just days after InterMat ranked Ohio State's 2018 class as the No. 2 class in the country, the Buckeyes added another top-shelf recruit to its 2019 class in three-time Ohio High School state champion Dylan D'Emilio.
D'Emilio, a junior at Genoa High School and FloWrestling's No. 7 recruit in the country at 132 pounds, announced his commitment via Twitter.

D'Emilio led the Comets to the school's first state championship at the OHSAA Division III dual meet tournament in St. John Arena earlier this year.

D'Emilio joins Jordan and Jacob Decatur from Cuyahoga Christian Academy in the Buckeye's already star-studded 2019 recruiting class. The Decatur brothers announced their intentions all the way back in November 2016, and are ranked No. 9 and No. 41, respectively, on Flo's 2019 Big Board; D'Emilio is No. 50 on the board.
At the Ohio High School tournament in March, D'Emilio capped a 52-0 season with his third state title.

The future Buckeye has been both an elite prospect and fan of Ohio State athletics for quite some time. He was a 2012 Junior High champion alongside a bevy of other future Buckeyes and Division I wrestlers, and managed to wrangle a J.T. Barrett autograph when the Buckeyes throttled Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium back in October 2016.

D'Emilio projects to wrestled at 141 pounds for the Buckeyes at this point, and with his recruitment Ryan continues to shore up the middle of his lineup. The Buckeyes signed one of the top 141/149 pound prospects in the country in 2018 with Quinn Kinner.
Fresh off an outstanding 2018 recruiting class, an NCAA runner-up performance and another Big Ten title, the Buckeyes are off and running toward another top-rated class of prospects for 2019.
